Social Centre

The Social Centre was built in 1974 after a village-wide money-raising effort lasting many years. It is fully licenced and is used both for private hire and village activities There is a community pub attached, The Owl, with many traditional pub entertainments such as skittles and darts.

The Social Centre is very much at the heart of the community, hosting Carnival, village celebrations and acting as Polling Station at national and local election time.

Bromham Social Centre is located in the centre of the village of Bromham, which is near to the towns of Devizes, Calne, Chippenham, and Melksham.


The Centre has a large hall seating up to 200, with a stage, and pull down screen for showing films etc, a fully equipped kitchen, disabled toilet and baby changing facilities, plus 2 committee rooms - all of which are available for hire
